Housing Workshop for Builders Scheduled for May 24th
Builders are invited to attend a housing workshop to address housing construction opportunities on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The workshop will be held on May 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Imperial Palace Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. The meeting will focus on those factors that either facilitate or hinder the construction of housing. The information provided is intended to give builders the tools they need to make an informed decision regarding their potential commitment to helping us rebuild our coast. Specific issues discussed will include, but are not limited to: an assessment of housing needs, available funding sources, policies that affect housing construction, workforce housing needs, and the growing housing market north of the coastal counties.
