GOVERNOR BARBOUR APPOINTS MILLS TO (Jackson, Miss.)—Governor Haley Barbour today announced the appointment of Major Dianna G. Mills, of Florence, to the Polygraph Examiners Board. This board regulates the licensing of qualified applicants to become polygraph examiners in the State of Mississippi. “Major Mills is an excellent choice,” Governor Barbour said. “Her extensive education and background in the polygraph field will be a great asset to this board, and I know she will perform her duties well.” Mills has been employed by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics since 1987, and is currently its director of administration operations. A full member of the American Polygraph Association (APA), Mills has participated in every yearly APA weeklong seminar since 1995. She attended both John Reed Interview and Interrogation School and graduated from the Argenbright International Institute of Polygraph. In 1996, she received training in post-conviction sex offender testing from the Texas Department of Public Safety Polygraph School.
